We also got the chance to talk with special guests about Truth Arts’ new merger, Rarible’s API release and Currents mint on Solana. Add on Otherside’s “Apes Come Home” reopening and the week has been a fun one. It’s only going to get more interesting from here.

Monday
Steve Hired by Doodles
Steve gets hired as a part-time consultant for Doodles! The Coffee discusses why he’s one of the most deserving people for the position. Steve loves the brand and embodies what it means to be a Doodle. I mean he even looks like his Doodle! Austin Hurwitz joins us later in the show to talk more about the content creation and co-creation with his new found colleague.
We also get to hear about what happened in NFT Paris from firsthand goers. I learned from personal experience last year at VeeCon. It’s a much more impactful experience when you get to shake someone’s hand or give them a big hug. If you get an opportunity to make one, then take it. The power of IRL conferences will be clear.

Tuesday
Will Yuga Holders Pay Royalties with Magic Eden
Monday and Tuesday saw Bitcoin and Ethereum both ripping. You can feel the excitement in the air surrounding crypto. Do we think it’s up only or is strong retracement coming? How will the crypto price action affect the NFT market? And speaking of NFT markets, how will Yuga incentivize community members to trade Yuga assets on Magic Eden? Royalties are a part of any team’s growth strategy, big or small. The Coffee Crew speculates on what the future could look like.
We also discuss Daniel Alegre and how he’s stuck around the BAYC community. People continue to reflect on the good Daniel did. He’ll likely go down as someone who took a lot of heat for Yuga to succeed.

Wednesday
Truth Arts to Give Equity for Holders
The Bitcoin, dare I say “euphoria,” continues as the number pushes past 60k. We talk a little about how people are viewing the market. We hit a little side conversation as Steve finds himself in another conundrum. After getting hired by Doodles, he changed his PFP to show support. With the new X rules, changing his PFP loses that verification. Ultimately, it’s his choice, but an upcoming Made by Apes space makes it unclear for him.
Truth Labs and Upstream are merging into one company, Truth Arts! The Coffee Crew is joined by Grey and AJT to discuss what the company looks like now for holders. Truth Arts have video games in development, a content series to be released, a graphic novel and more. Be sure to read up on the TL;DR. The biggest news is the merger comes with an opportunity to burn Truth Labs NFTs for future equity in Truth Arts inc. It’s definitely worth checking out!

Thursday
Otherside Reopened + Rarible’s API Release
BAYC Island reopened for Apes Come Home. Cap talks about his great experience seeing other Apes roam around the island. The land is massive and there were plenty of quests to accomplish on this limited run. However, by the time you’re reading this it’s already closed.
The Coffee Crew gives their takes on working in web3. It’s difficult being an entrepreneur and even more so doing it in web3, but it’s very rewarding. Listen in to hear the good, bad and the ugly. Speaking of working in web3, we also get a taste of the Eth Denver atmosphere. It sounds like the vibes are great and yet again an IRL conference our perspective.
To end the show, James Fry comes to talk about Rarible’s new API release. The Rarible marketplace has been around for awhile and now they want to help developers build Next-Gen NFT apps and more.

Friday
Generative Art by Root, Market FOMO & Bitcoin Ordinals
As we enter the bull run our attention is starting to get fractured. Even if you’re in web3 full time it’s hard to keep up. How is Steve dealing with FOMO and what’s some advice for people caught up in it? Also Cap and Steve share their ordinals sentiment. It might surprise you to hear what’s said this time around.
The Coffee Crew is joined on the show by Root, a generative artist. Today, Root is releasing his newest collection, Currents, for minting. Listen in to hear how he got started as an artist. He put a significant amount of effort into this collection, meticulously altering the code. Root also talks about the importance of community curation, which can be easily undervalued.
