Infiltrating the Ape Mafia

At the very beginnings of BAYC, the first Ape Mafia was established on May 4^th, 2021. The records reveal the first mention of admissions to the syndicate took place on this very day.

Behind the growing crime ring was a stoic leader known as the ApeFather, or Ape 6056, who attentively managed the mafia enterprise and its dirty business.

Early on, the ApeFather searched for a rightful heir to the Scimmia family jewel, a cherished generational treasure. Dexxad, a trusted associate, was the most ideal inheritor who would protect the jewel that once belonged to the Scimmia Family Vault.

On May 8^th 2021, Scimmia Family Jewelers opened for business marking the inception of the mafia’s merchanting ventures.

Several other ring leaders were entrusted with powers to superintend the business. These Capos had close ties to the ApeFather and carried out his most important tasks.

NGBxBen, Herb Castillo, Mmwalk, M3, Holderofbags, PumaJaw, Argurius, 0xFenrir, Bread, and Accumul8 constitute the circle of Capos assigned by the Ape 6056.

The Family

Jewelers, traders and well-dressed associates make up the growing ranks of the notorious family.

The mafia members are identifiable by the clean mafia ring they proudly don to indicate their allegiance to the mob.

As a tight-knit family, they live by a strict ethos and vow loyalty to each other and their collective values. They fully understand the cost of betrayal within the family: traitors are awarded no sympathy; simply escorted to the back of the hideout to be properly dealt with.

The Mafia Token

After proper initiation, apes are presented with a highly respected mafia token, the definitive symbol of membership. The token was minted on the 20^th of June, 2021 through Rarible and can be purchased here: https://opensea.io/collection/ape-mafia.

Ape Mafia Website

The Ape Mafia Website serves as the hub of the nefarious network and all its dealings. Access is permitted through the membership token, once acquired. Upon entering, you will find links to featured Family members, a classy Spotify playlist, the historical blog, Discord, Digi-Physical Merch Store (coming soon), and an access link to the Hideout (coming soon).

The Hideout

The Ape Mafia token, most importantly, grants members access to the Sandbox residency where the ApeFather and his associates conduct their day-to-day business. It will soon be open to all members who will benefit from exclusive networking opportunities with other members.

Merch

In addition to exclusive access to the Mafia Hideout, the token will also serve as a ticket to the “digi-physical merch” shop where members may browse for proper mafia attire. Members hold style in high esteem and are expected to set an example in both real-world and metaverse fashion.
