LandVault is Building an Amazing Metaverse Game. You in?

If you look across the NFT world, you won’t find many projects like LandVault. NFTs are the wild west, with founders who ignore laws and rules to push forward to drive up the floor of their projects.

LandVault’s different.

Satsuma and Boomer run a tight operation, with regular community calls, full transparency, and even (GASP) lawyers advising them. Multiple lawyers.

In fact, the project was initially going to be a land collective, but their dedication to doing things the right way led them to pivot the entire business model. Explaining to you the various benefits of LandVault is another article entirely, but that sort of professionalism is why LandVault is one of my favorite projects. It’s why Boomer and Satsuma are two of my favorite project founders. And it’s why I’m going to mint LandVault’s Creation Game.

LandVault’s Creation Game is an ambitious experiment which is quite literally making NFT history. Boomer and Satsuma are prepared to lead a group of people in the first decentralized game development. If you’ve ever been playing a game and thought, “wow I could do better than the devs on that,” here’s your chance to prove it.

LandVault owns a ridiculous amount of land across various metaverses, including Sandbox. The plan is to develop a game in Sandbox in a 3×3 plot attached to Pong. There will be 9,000 tokens which will be designed by trippy NFT artist Young and Sick. They’ll come in four rarities, with a random mint at the price of 0.07 ETH. Each rarity represents a different number of votes in game development. The breakdown goes as follows:

• 70% Dawn Cards (4 votes)
• 25% Day Cards (8 votes)
• 4% Dusk Cards (50 votes)
• 1% Night Cards(200 votes)

What’s wild about those votes is they’re going to let you control everything about the game’s development. From the type of the game, to the various aspects of the landscape, to your very own access and benefits within the game for being a token holder. You control the story, the lore, the characters, and really anything you want to develop within the parameters allowed in Sandbox. You’ll even get to name the project, which is why it’s called the very straightforward LandVault Creation Game.

Just like LandVault, the LandVault Creation Game isn’t about FOMOing in and flipping. The founders would rather it take weeks to sell out, or not sell out at all, then to have a disengaged group of token holders. It reminds me a bit of Jenkins the Valet, another project I’m a big fan of, which uses decentralization to create something as a collective. I’m excited to jump in, and can’t wait to be able to say, “I helped create a game.”
