Starbucks, the renowned coffee chain, has taken a leap into the world of cutting-edge technology with the launch of Starbucks Odyssey, a beta loyalty program powered by Web3 technology. The new capabilities in this program are enabled by new tech and allows you to connect deeper with the Starbucks brand.
This new loyalty program doesn’t replace the existing Starbucks Rewards program, but works side by side with it. For Starbucks, the connection with its customers goes beyond just serving coffee, it extends to creating a sense of community and belonging.

Engaging Starbucks Odyssey Journeys
Central to Starbucks Odyssey are the “Journeys,” a series of interactive and entertaining activities that members can explore. From taking virtual tours of Starbucks’ coffee farm, Hacienda Alsacia in Costa Rica, to engaging in Starbucks trivia, these Journeys provide opportunities to learn about coffee, Starbucks history, and pop culture.
Upon completion, participants earn collectible “Stamps,” Polygon-based digital collectibles, and bonus Odyssey Points. These are limited with a few thousand per collection so far, all with a unique tie to Starbucks history and mission.
Unlocking Unique Benefits and Experiences
As members collect more Stamps and accrue Odyssey Points, they unlock access to a variety of unique benefits and immersive coffee experiences. These rewards are grouped into different tiers, with increasing exclusivity at higher tiers. Members may enjoy virtual espresso making classes, gain access to limited-edition merchandise and artist collaborations, receive exclusive event invitations at Starbucks Reserve Roasteries and more.

Starbucks believes in co-creating experiences with its customers and partners. As Starbucks Odyssey progresses, the company plans to collaborate closely with members and partners, seeking feedback and ideas to continually shape the program’s evolution.
